What I Wore Wednesday

Where did November go? Seriously! It seems like Halloween was a minute ago and now people are getting out the Christmas stuff. I love Christmas, looovvvee it, but come on people, let Thanksgiving have it's day!

This has been a strangely warm fall and I am NOT complaining about that, but last week it snowed and I am already over winter. I woke up and I totally forgot how to dress for winter, that first snow always gets me!

I love this dress!!! I got it last year and there is just something about it! The fit, the pattern, I could wear this everyday!

We had an awesome Veteran's day tribute last week. Since we are so close the Air Force base we had so many military families come to be honored. After the service they came by our classrooms to talk to the kids. Thank you Veterans!

I wore this last Sunday in the nursery at church. Brien was on call so it was just Callie and I and a few helpers from the 5th grade class. I thought I was going to lose my mind! Oh my goodness, there were SO many babies and I am talking tiny babies who can't walk so I literally had my hands full!

What I Wore Wednesday

This week has been weird, weird, weird. Kellen was sick with a tummy bug, Brien was gone hunting, everything that has to with plumbing was malfunctioning. Over it.

But dressing more fall-y has been a bit of a bright spot. Even when things are hectic and crazy, I still look forward to getting up and getting dressed each day. It's the little victories, really!

What I wore Wednesday

This week it has been yoga pants and comfy tees, but last week was all fall! Yay for the seasons changing, but not so much the getting cold part. I just know it's coming, but I am not quite ready! Kellen was narrating on the way home from somewhere last week and was very concerned about the leaves turning yellow and orange. I told him that it was fall and they would turn colors and fall off. He looked very sad while he was processing this and then came up with, " So the trees will be naked?" Yup kid. For the next 6 months nothing but naked sad trees!

This week has been so weird, y'all! Kellen go super sick with strep throat on Monday, Brien has been home all week because the baby sitter is out due to surgery, the power was out all day for "maintenance". Everything was just feeling out of sorts!

It's finally fall here! The mornings are chilly and the afternoons are crisp so I have been busting out all of fun cool weather clothes. I love my winter wardrobe so much better than my summer clothes!
I was totally in pajamas and yoga pants last week, for fall break, so that doesn't count...but this week and last week definitely counted.

It sure has been just beautiful in CO this week! I am loving this FALL weather. I am NOT looking forward to winter. Why, oh why is fall so short here?? I need to move to the northeast... I am thinking Vermont, who's with me??

Cheers to fall weather and clothes. I am so super jazzed to have fall break next week, when it is actually fall-y. The district moved up our break 2 weeks and I honestly cannot even imagine me and these kids going another 2 week with out some kind of catastrophe! Thanks higher up people for making this change, I am one grateful teacher!
