Slimey Slime!

Let's be real, kids looove them some slime. It has been that the top of the list the last few weeks and we finally made some! I remember making it with Callie when she was little, but now Kellen is on the bandwagon!
You need:
1/4 cup of glue
1/4 cup of water
1/4 of borax
and apparently a leopard toy, as well...

The first few batches were a little tricky. I am telling you this is a science, people. First you mix the water and the glue together well. I think I may have added a little less water the second time around, because the first batch was a little slooshy.

Next slowly add the borax and stir, stir, stir while you pour until it starts to solidify. You might not use all of the borax and that's a-okay.

Then get your play on!
If you want to add color to your slime, do it when you are mixing up the glue and water.

This slimey slime kept my mister busy all afternoon while I worked on some grading the last week of school.

The slime keeps pretty well in a tupperware, but the water in the mixture seems to seep to the top after a few days, just press a paper towel on the top to soak it up and it's still good to go.
It's so fun and so gross! Give it a try!
