Halloween bark

Today was another calm day at home. I have been gobbling up episodes of Rehab Addict on Netflix and watching the kiddos play. Today we visited my grandparents. We hadn't been to see them in forever. We caught up a little and then my grandpa needed to rest. He hasn't been sleeping much during the night and he was super sleepy and Kellen was getting cranky. We ran some errands and then came home and made a little treat!

Halloween bark is amazing and simple. I keep making trips to the kitchen to break off little pieces. It's addicting.

You need:
12-15 Halloween Oreos
1 cup of broken up pretzels
1 and 1/2 cups of candy corn
1 lb of candy coating/white chocolate
Halloween sprinkles

First, line a pan with parchment or wax paper. Then smash up the Oreos.

We just put ours in a gallon sized bag and use a meat mallet to smash them up. Spread the Oreos on the pan.

Then smash up the pretzels using the same method. Last top with the candy corn.

Next melt the candy coating according to the package. Pour over the cookies, pretzels and candy corn and give a good mix to coat. While the candy coating is still soft top with sprinkles. I popped the pan right in the fridge and let it set up. After it is hardened, break into smaller pieces!

I hope this will tide us over until trick or treating!!
